Bob Barker - Where You Lead, I Follow

WHERE YOU LEAD I’LL FOLLOW
My two granddaughters have featured quite a lot in my work and as my main models I have asked them to be photographed hundreds of times; we have had a lot of fun along the way! I have watched them grow and seen their characters and personalities emerge. The older of the two became the consummate organiser and the youngest was more than happy to follow her lead, regardless of the consequences. Whilst painting I recalled my childhood, being the youngest of four brothers I was always the one following, constantly wailing “wait for me!” Although at the time I didn’t believe her, my mother always said “one day you will catch up.”
